WebIf you're set on using cavalry, use your infantry as the anvil to hold your opponents' pesky yari infantry in place and then move around the flanks with the cavalry. Think of it as if you were the AI, if you had mainly yari and bow ashigaru, and the enemy had a crapload of cavalry, you'd want to epitomise on your spear advantage. WebYari cavalry and katana cavalry perform even better with this. Also naganita samurai owing to their 9 armour can only be pushed even with wedge with katana cavalry's 7 armour compared to yari cavalry's 4 armour. For killing non spear units, of course a normal formation is better for kills and maximum charge devastation. melting clown
